The Project Manager for Packaging in Whippany, NJ, is a direct-hire position with a salary of up to $110K, plus bonuses, requiring on-site work Monday through Friday. The role involves overseeing the entire packaging operation and serving as the main point of contact with customers.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in project management (preferably in CDMO, contract packaging, or client-facing roles).
- Proficiency in project management software.
- Preferred certification: Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent.
Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, setting clear objectives and resource allocation.
- Execution & Monitoring: Oversee project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines, scope, and budget.
- Leadership: Lead and motivate project teams, coordinating with production supervisors for staffing.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with customers on product launches and package designs.
- Compliance: Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain project documentation and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
