About the Job
Job Duties

Oversee the installation of design/build landscape projects

Coordinate and schedule upcoming and ongoing projects

Maintain open communication and relationships with customers

Inspect job sites regularly
-
Provide quality control for projects
-
Assist with project layout, troubleshooting and other needs the crews may have
-
Coordinate deliveries with our yard and vendor yards
-
Coordinate with sales/design for pre project reviews and questions
-
Submit change orders in a timely manner following proper channels
-
Approve employee time off as needed - Ensure we have proper coverage for our crews
-
Be a strong leader to your team and develop other leaders on your team. Provide productive feedback that will drive growth and development to your team.

Maintain the project schedule and communicate changes with sales
-
Take into account rain days, material delays, and personnel issues to make sure that we keep making progress on our jobs.

Track project progress and monitor costing to hit goals and targets.

Ensure the job information is prepared each day for your crews

Perform annual reviews with employees
-
Line up training opportunities for crews
-
Ensure that crew tool inventories are managed correctly
-
Equipment being kept clean and trailers organized
-

Coordinate equipment repairs and maintenance needed with our shop/mechanics
-
Interview potential employees and assist in onboarding process
-
Ensure that weekly production goals are met
-
Assist with snow removal in winter months
-
Other duties as assigned
Reports to:

Operations Manager
Schedule:
-
Hours will be 7:00am to 4:30pm Monday - Friday (Typical Summer, but can vary)

The schedule can be flexible, we base performance on results not how many hours worked.

Winter Hours (Non snow) 7:00am to 3:30pm Monday -Thursday (No Fridays unless needed)

Qualifications
-
Five (5) years landscape installation experience (Preferred)
-
Experience leading diverse crews
-
Experience in Project Management Role
-
Strong leadership skills
-
Valid Driver's License (Required)
-
Desire to be a key member of a growing team
-
ICPI & MCMA certified (Preferred)
-
Bilingual is a plus, but not a requirement
