SUMMARY
Stampede Ventures, Inc., a subsidiary of Bering Straits Native Corporation, is currently seeking a qualified Project Manager to manage and supervise federal construction projects at Tinker AFB, OK. Project management responsibilities include delivering every project on time within budget and scope, managing resources, and supervising personnel. Project managers should have a background in business skills, construction management, budgeting and analysis. Project Manager will report to Stampede Ventures, Inc. Senior Project Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties performed for this position, and are not intended to reflect all duties performed within the job. Other duties may be assigned.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
- Report and escalate to management as needed
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
- Perform risk management and quality control to minimize project risks
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Attend, facilitate, coordinate all required meetings and progress updates
- Enforcing vendor and subcontractor contracts within the context of the project
- Providing onsite project oversight and leadership of quality control and risk mitigation

Required (Minimum) Qualifications
- Proven working experience as a project manager for similar size and complexity projects
- Experience enforcing and complying to quality standards set forth in government documentation, plans, and specifications
- Solid construction background, with understanding or hands-on experience in the field
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

- Proficient or have the ability to learn Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Ability to read and/or learn to interpret drawings and specifications
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, as well as with customers and vendors.
- Detail oriented with the ability to efficiently analyze and organize significant amounts of information regarding plan layouts, materials, and scheduling
Preferred
- 10 years of construction management experience
- Experience working under federal contracts is a must
- Experience working on federal and/or military installations

Essential and marginal functions may require maintaining physical condition necessary for bending, stooping, sitting, walking or standing for prolonged periods of time. Climbing, cleaning, crawling, driving, holding tools, kneeling, pulling/pushing equipment. Must be able to hear radio transmissions, see equipment and gauges, stand for long periods of time and lift up to 60 lbs.
DOT COVERED/SAFETY-SENSITIVE ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- This position is not subject to federal requirements regarding Department of Transportation “safety-sensitive” functions.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work Environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be borne by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
The job is performed on an active construction site, with exposure to extreme cold and hot temperatures, working outdoors and in confined spaces.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- No supervisory responsibilities.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS
As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable background check results. If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain the appropriate clearance levels required and be able to obtain access to military installations.
