We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team in the Construction industry. This position is an incredible opportunity for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys the thrill of managing complex projects and possesses a keen eye for detail. The successful candidate will be instrumental in overseeing various construction projects, from conception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of construction project management including planning, coordination, budgeting, and implementation.
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and forecasts.
- Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
- Review work progress on a daily basis and make necessary adjustments to ensure project stays on track.
- Ensure all necessary permits and legal paperwork are obtained and in order.
- Handle any environmental or local community issues that may come up during a project.
- Conduct site checks to monitor progress and quality standards.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction and building specialists.
- Perform or oversee soil testing, concrete mix design, and concrete masonry work.
- Evaluate and manage risks, including safety risks, and develop response strategies.
- Estimate quantities and cost of materials, equipment, or labor to determine project feasibility.
- Manage commercial construction restoration projects, ensuring they are completed to the highest standards.
- Communicate project status to stakeholders and management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a project management role within the construction industry.
- Proven experience in managing budgets, schedules, and project resources.
- Demonstrated expertise in concrete masonry and concrete estimating.
- Solid understanding of commercial construction restoration.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to read and understand construction blueprints and plans.
- Proficient in construction project management software.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and workplace compliance.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Certification in project management is a plus.
