Nature and Scope of Job
USDM Life Sciences is seeking a Project Manager - NFC Technology Implementation to oversee the implementation of NFC (Near Field Communication) technology in product presentations. This role involves close coordination with external vendors, internal stakeholders, customer packaging sites, and contract manufacturers. The Project Manager will report to and act on behalf of the customer Program Manager and workstream leads, ensuring project deliverables are met on time and within scope.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop detailed project plans from high-level plans.
- Create and manage project schedules using MS Project.
- Assign task owners and identify critical paths.
- Oversee daily operational aspects and team deliverables.
- Ensure project consistency with scope and objectives.
- Identify potential risks to timelines and resources.
- Proactively expose and mitigate project risk issues.
- Run weekly project meetings, create agendas, and publish meeting minutes.
- Participate in stakeholder and vendor meetings, capturing notes and action items.
- Communicate difficult or sensitive information tactfully.
- Provide weekly updates to the customer Program Manager on project progress.
- Provide monthly summary reports on deliverable progress, planned activities, and risk management.
- Support project SharePoint site, manage access, post, and maintain documents.
- Track and share lessons learned with team members.
- Coordinate with program leaders for scope changes and escalations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in pharmaceutical or related regulated industries.
- Experience with leading projects involving packaging line equipment installation/qualification.
- Knowledge in using project management software such as MS Project.
- Experience with computer software, packaging line execution systems, and PLCs.
- Previous experience with customer projects, especially those related to packaging lines and systems.
- Knowledge of label and OEM vendors.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Ability to monitor, influence, and adhere to the customer's processes and procedures.
- Interface with multiple external supplier organizations.
- Multitasking and prioritization within specified timeframes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Teams.
Education & Certification
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Science, Pharmaceutical Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Compensation
Salary/Hourly Rate Range (W2): USD 80.00 - 100.00
The base salary/hourly rate range represents the anticipated low and high end of the USDM’s compensation range for this position. Actual salaries/hourly rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. The compensation described above is subject to change and could be higher or lower than the range described based on market survey data or budget.
Full-time employees are eligible for health, vision, and dental insurance, life insurance, short and long-term disability, hospital indemnity, accident, and critical care coverage.
Both full and part-time employees, who are at least 21 years of age, are eligible to participate in USDM's 401k plan. Full and part-time employees may be eligible for paid time off.
