About the Job
We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager/Project Engineer to assist with client designs and oversee project orders from design through commissioning of industrial/wastewater equipment. This role requires excellent communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail to ensure projects run smoothly and align with client specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and approve performance calculations to ensure compliance with client specifications.
- Oversee projects from initial engineering/design to final fabrication and shipping.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, keeping them informed about project progress and deadlines.
- Handle design adjustments and revisions based on client feedback.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables.
Requirements:
- Education/Experience:
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or BSMET OR
- 5+ years of design/drafting experience (mechanical focus).
- Experience:
- 2+ years of design work in industrial or water/wastewater equipment (highly preferred).
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Inventor or SolidWorks.
- Other Skills:
- Strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and attention to detail.
Additional Details:
- Location: Initially based in Newnan, GA, transitioning to Alpharetta, GA (late 2025).
- Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM.
- Pay Range: $29-$36/hourĀ
- Type: 6-Month Temp-to-Direct.
- Eligibility: U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder only (no sponsorship).
- Environment: Small team environment (12 employees total, 7 on engineering staff).
This position offers the opportunity to work on innovative industrial equipment projects for water and wastewater facilities, with responsibilities spanning design to final product delivery.
