Project Manager at Vanderweil Engineers

Vanderweil Engineers was founded in 1950 and is a top ranked national full-service engineering firm specializing in MEP/FP and technology services. Working in multiple sectors including Science & Technology, Mission Critical, Academic, Healthcare and Commercial buildings. We provide construction/commissioning support for buildings, sustainable design, and power generation. With a staff of 450+ located across ten offices, we are proud to be one of the largest independently owned engineering firms in the country. 

Some of your responsibilities include the following:  

• Management of schedule and budgets for multiple projects.
• Responsible for client communications.
• Primary lead with managing outside sub-consultant architects, engineers and vendors.
• Effectively develop and manage project designs from initial concept through design documents, construction documents and close-out.
• Construction Administration activities including submittal reviews, RFI responses and Shop Drawing reviews. 
• Ability to perform site investigation surveys to support design efforts for interim and final punch list reviews to support Construction Administration and Project Closeout.

Essential Skills & Requirements

• 8+ years of Project Management experience in MEP industry 
• 3+ years in Laboratory (Sci-Tech) or Healthcare Facilities        
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering
• PMP or PE certification is a plus
• Client facing role, excellent communication skills required.
