About the Job
We seek a Construction Project Manager to oversee the projects of a specialized commercial contractor based in Middletown, CT. The ideal candidate will have a construction and project management background and experience controlling 3-10 million dollar jobs. Our client focuses on historic remodeling and restoration work, winning multiple awards across the state of CT. *This is a PERM Direct Hire Role* *Direct Construction Project Management Required*
Compensation and Bennafits:
- 60-100k

Responsibilities:
- In charge of all financial aspects of the project, including the issuance of prime and subcontracts, purchase orders, change orders, and the scope of work
- Manages all materials, contracts, negotiations and buyout of the project
- Ensure all safety equipment and aspects of the project are met
- Manage clients, vendors and collaborate across departments to ensure projects on time and within budget completionResposible for multiple commercial projects
- Requesting necessary permits for the projects
- Preparing project schedules and ensuring deadlines are met
- Managing the worksite team
- Collaborating across multiple departments
- Maintaining customer and subcontractor relationships
- Delivering projects on-time and on-budget
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in construction project management, project coordination, or related fields.
- Previous construction experience managing projects above $5M
- Valid CSL is preferred, not required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Procore, or relatable pm/office systems
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
