Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team. As the prime contractor for the NASA Lunar Terrain Vehicle mission, Intuitive Machines is responsible for leading the design, development, and integration of cutting-edge technologies alongside our Moon RACER global team of companies including AVL, Boeing, Michelin, & Northrop Grumman. The Program Manager will play a key role in in working across company teams.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the overall execution of the Lunar Terrain Vehicle project, ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, and quality requirements.
• Serve as the primary point of contact with NASA and other stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate closely with our Moon RACER global team of companies to drive the vehicle design architecture and oversee system integration efforts.
• Provide strategic direction and guidance to cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and operations, to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing issues and challenges to ensure successful project delivery.
• Monitor project performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs), providing regular updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Lead project review meetings, including design reviews, milestone reviews, and technical interchange meetings, to assess progress and address any issues or concerns.
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, driving efficiencies and best practices across the project team.
• Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering their professional development and growth within the organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in program or project management, with a track record of successfully leading complex aerospace projects.
• Extensive experience working with NASA or other government agencies, preferably in the space exploration domain.
• Strong technical background with knowledge of spacecraft design, propulsion systems, and/or robotics.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with senior leadership, customers, and stakeholders.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute project plans that align with organizational objectives.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
