Our esteemed organization is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join our team in the Construction industry. This is an incredible opportunity for someone who is passionate about engineering and has a strong background in wastewater management. Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience managing projects in the construction sector, with a particular focus on wastewater treatment. This role is pivotal in driving project success, ensuring the highest level of efficiency, and fostering innovation in our wastewater management strategies.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Project Manager, you will be responsible for:
1. Leading and managing all aspects of wastewater projects from inception to completion.
2. Developing and implementing project plans, risk assessments, and contingency plans.
3. Coordinating with various teams and stakeholders to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our projects.
4. Overseeing and managing the project budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and value for money.
5. Ensuring all projects comply with industry standards and legislation.
6. Identifying, tracking, and managing project risks and issues, implementing mitigation measures where necessary.
7. Reporting project status and progress to senior management and stakeholders.
8. Ensuring the highest quality of service delivery, meeting all contractual requirements, and exceeding customer expectations.
9. Implementing and promoting best practices in project management within the organization.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certification will be an added advantage.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the engineering industry, specifically in wastewater management.
3. Proven experience in managing large-scale wastewater projects.
4. Strong knowledge of project management principles and practices.
5. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
6. High proficiency in project management software.
7. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
8. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
9. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
