We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager with a strong background in the construction industry. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our construction projects, from initial planning to completion. This includes managing project teams, coordinating with subcontractors, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations, and delivering projects on time and within budget. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing large-scale construction projects, with a particular focus on mechanical and HVAC systems.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage project plans, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to create and interpret detailed technical specifications, electrical diagrams, and blueprints.
- Ensure all projects adhere to building codes, regulations, and quality standards.
- Regularly review weekly labor to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.
- Coordinate the delivery of equipment and materials to job sites.
- Generate punch lists and oversee the completion of final project tasks.
- Visit job sites regularly to monitor progress and resolve any issues that arise.
- Lead and motivate project teams, managing manpower to meet or exceed budget expectations.
- Utilize excellent customer service and listening skills to effectively communicate with all stakeholders, including clients, team members, and subcontractors.
- Utilize strategic planning, problem-solving, and budgeting skills to effectively manage construction projects.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the mechanical and HVAC industry, running large-scale projects.
- Proven experience in construction management, with a strong understanding of building codes and specifications.
- Excellent understanding of technical specifications, electrical diagrams, and blueprints.
- Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to motivate teams and manage manpower effectively.
- Excellent customer service and listening skills, with a proven ability to effectively communicate with all stakeholders.
- Strong strategic planning, problem-solving, and budgeting skills.
- Experience with scheduling, coordinating equipment and material delivery, and generating punch lists.
- Ability to visit job sites regularly and resolve any issues that arise.
- Strong attention to detail, with a focus on ensuring all projects adhere to building codes, regulations, and quality standards.
