About the Job
Extensive Experience with Land Mobile Radio and/or Public Safety Radio required. Cellular radio may work for the right person, but they are a Land/Public Safety Radio company so that is definitely preferred.
Plan and implement two-way radio systems for the use of the county’s fire, EMS, public safety and transportation departments.
Complete Projects on time and on budget.

- Direct the vendor design, installation and testing of the Motorola trunk and conventional systems.
- Direct the implementation of multiple radio systems with multiple vendor contracts
- Provide detailed project direction to the Department of Public Works for the development of nine tower sites in conformance with Motorola R56 standards
- Represent the County at multiple town and village planning and zoning board meetings providing detailed plans for zoning approval.
- Work with vendors and multiple County departments to insure an on time, on budget system cutover.
