Responsibilities:
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for partners, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Project Tracking: Keep meticulous track of project releases, milestones, and deadlines to ensure timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
- Release Management: Coordinate and facilitate the release process, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and successful releases.
- Product Tracker and Jira Updates: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in project management tools such as Jira and product trackers, ensuring visibility and transparency for all stakeholders.
- Mortgage Market and Underwriting Knowledge: Apply expertise in mortgage market trends and underwriting processes to advise project decisions and requirements.
- Software Development Collaboration: Work closely with software development teams to understand technical requirements, resolve issues, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Resource Management: Track project resources efficiently, including personnel, budget, and time allocation, to optimize project outcomes.
- Deck Updates: Build and update project-related presentations and decks, providing relevant information to stakeholders and senior management as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Computer Science) or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of proven hands-on experience as a Project Manager, preferably in the mortgage industry or related field.
- At least 2 years of technical project management experience
- Experience performing requirement analysis and document for technical development teams.
- Solid ability to work within the Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience presenting reports and presentations to team members, partners and leadership.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools, with proficiency in Jira or similar project management software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse colleagues.
- Familiarity with software development processes and terminology.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, lead multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
- Thorough with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
