About the Job
The Project Manager will lead and facilitate the successful implementation of the Personal Computer Upgrade Project. This project aims to upgrade and replace existing PCs and upgrade of Microsoft Windows to Microsoft Windows 11 across the organization. The project manager will have the ultimate responsibility to deliver the project from idea to transition to operations, managing quality, scope, schedule, and budget. The Project Manager will lead additional infrastructure and information security-related projects as needed. This role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams, ensuring adherence to project timelines, and delivering results within budget constraints.
Responsibilities:
- Construct well-developed project plans that consider resources, constraints, vendor partners, external dependencies, and risks. Monitoring continuous progress through the life cycle.
- Provide continuous communication to stakeholders at all levels in the organization, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Use deep knowledge of Windows-based Personal Computing Platforms to deliver the project.
- Coordinate with IT teams, system administrators, and other relevant personnel to execute the Windows 11 and PC uplift.
- Manage project documentation, including status reports, change requests, and communication plans.
- Partner with the cross-functional teams on requirements and schedules.
- Development of communication materials such as project plans, implementation plans, and change.
- Working together with technology teams to understand issues and risks to delivery and then develop mitigation plans to address the issues and risks.
- Manage the finances for the project ensuring alignment to committed budget.
- Work with the project stakeholders to ensure requirements are clearly articulated, documented, and communicated.
- Deliver projects in support of Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity.

Additional Responsibilities:
- Participate in OrangePeople monthly team meetings, and participate in team-building efforts.
- Contribute to OrangePeople technical discussions, peer reviews, etc.
- Contribute content and collaborate via the OP-Wiki/Knowledge Base.
- Provide status reports to OP Account Management as requested.
