Compensation: $65 -$75 /hr.

Seeking 5 years experience in a project management position and a minimum of 5 years of work experience in a bank or financial services.
The role of the Project Manager is to plan, execute, and finalize Risk and Regulatory projects, within the Banking and Investment Services Business, according to timelines, milestone events, and within budget. This includes leveraging resources, planning, and coordinating all project activities across project team members. The Project Manager will help define project objectives, scope, and requirements; and ensure high levels of development and project execution throughout its life cycle. Project Managers must adhere to the Project Management Lifecycle Methodology.

What you will do:
- Assemble the project team, assign individual responsibilities, identify appropriate resources needed, and develop a schedule to ensure timely completion of the project and meeting deadlines of the project.
- Lead project from inception to close (Requirements, Build, Test, Deployment, Post Implementation Review).
- Identify opportunities to simplify and/or streamline operational processes to improve the end-to-end client experience.
- Drive meeting activities; meeting agenda and associated meeting minutes and proactive follow-up on actions.
- Interview colleagues/clients to identify and analyze needs; develop the project plan and provide input to recommendations for request/problem resolution.
- Monitor development activities relating to meeting project objectives, budget, quality standards, and schedule.
- Manage several projects of varying size concurrently and consult with all levels of management which may require coordinating activities across multiple departments and/or divisions.
- Prepare project status reports; make alterations to the project plan as needed.
- Foster and maintain good relationships with colleagues/clients to ensure that processes are integrated to support expected customer service levels.
- Act as a business partner by managing expectations and providing guidance and advice throughout the project duration.
- Comply fully with all Bank Operational and Credit policies and procedures as well as all regulatory requirements (e.g. Bank Secrecy Act, Know Your Client, Community Reinvestment Act, Fair Lending Practices, Code of Conduct, etc.).
- Must be knowledgeable in all aspects of project methodology, management tools, and techniques across all project activities (including Agile and Waterfall).
- Good understanding and planning skills in all aspects of a system/business project lifecycle.
- Ability to identify excessive cycle time and/or costs and develop alternative courses of action associated with the project’s life cycle.
- Ability to manage resources directly and through cross-functional teams
- Conversant on issues and current trends as they relate to the banking industry’s products and services.
- Aptitude to prioritize and analyze a list of measurable product and service characteristics along with associated target values.
- Ability to set and develop strategic goals and techniques for a project and effectively communicate this to all project team members.
