Project Manager, Issue Resolution
Location: Foster City, CA
Duration: 6 months
Description:
The Issue Management Tools team is a part of the Vehicle Program Management organization.
This team member will work directly with issue reporters, systems integration teams, and solution owners to coordinate and drive issue resolution processes.
This role will work cross-functionally with program management and stakeholder organizations to provide support in identifying and grouping related issues, maintain a high touchpoint to ensure effective and structured root cause investigations, schedule sync points and keep Jira tickets up-to-date with latest resolution and containment status.
A successful applicant will help support and guide teams to an expedited and methodical resolution of issues with adequate documentation in a fast growing, future oriented product development and production environment.
Responsibilities
Drive issue resolution processes to resolve issues following Client best practices
Host daily triage meeting to identify owners of new issues, coordinate preliminary investigations and drive teams to develop containment plans
Identify and form working groups for high impact or frequent issues
Maintain a high touchpoint on issues by attending engineering meetings, scheduling sync points and keeping Jira tickets up-to-date with resolution and containment status, actions taken, results, next steps, and estimated time to resolve
Qualifications
Experience in Engineering/Production environments working in Automotive/Aerospace/Robotics industries is preferred
Experience with structured problem solving and follow standardized issue resolution best practices
Understanding of enterprise scale of Engineering Development and Change Management processes
Experience with large, complex, systems based products with hardware and software integration
Ability and desire to work cross-functionally with hardware and software engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve issues
Experience with Jira, Google Suite and common workplace software applications
Detail oriented with strong record-keeping and organizational skills
Past experience in structured problem solving and issue resolution is preferred
