Transformation & Acceleration – Transition Manager
Hybrid in Jacksonville, FL - Must be onsite on Tue, Wed and Thur and remote Mon and Fri - no exceptions.

Job Profile Summary
The Transition Management team within FIS Capital Markets – Transformation & Acceleration, provides technical project management for new, upgrading & migrating clients with a mix of public and private cloud engagements.
We take the client through their implementation journey from the point they sign a contract until they go live. Further to this we also plan the decommission of their legacy environment in the case of upgrades.
What you will do:
• You will assemble an internal project team of technical resources & plan system delivery of hosted Treasury environments.
• You're client facing, both internal & external, with no travel required. Extensive communication with our customers, professional services & technical teams is a daily requirement.
• You communicate timelines, set expectations, and ensure milestones are reached as scheduled.
• Where risks are identified, you proactively flag them and manage the risk to avoid impact to planned work.
• Timelines are key! You'll enforce diligence to scheduled commitments and ensure project reporting is an accurate reflection of reality.
• You'll be capable of handling multiple projects in parallel, at various project stages.
• You will enforce Transition Management process and standards across all project engagements.

• Requires eight or more years work experience managing technical projects in financial services or a related industry or a related technical field
