Job Description
The Decontamination and Decommissioning (D&D) Enterprise Management office (DEMO) is responsible for leading corporate D&D initiatives and maintaining Enterprise-level D&D requirements. DEMO is looking for a Project Manager to provide NNL-wide leadership and coordination for the Environmental Liabilities Estimate, which is a semi-annual submittal to the Department of Energy. This work requires close contact with and directing the work of four site leads as well as frequent interaction with NNL Financial Services and NR/NRLFO.
The ideal candidate should have experience working with the NNL budget system, understand liability estimates, and have leadership experience or a strong desire to be in a leadership role. The selected candidate will be in the unique position to regularly interface with Naval Nuclear Laboratory (NNL) senior leadership and Naval Reactors (NR). This position may require some travel.
Required Combination of Knowledge and Skill
Preferred Skills
- Previous experience with Decontamination and Decommissioning (D&D) work, including D&D Project Management
- Demonstrated advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel including developing Excel applications using complex formulas. Additionally, Excel experience should also include linking Excel workbooks using either Power BI or Power Query
- Demonstrated experience in using and developing Power Apps, Power Automate and SharePoint Lists
- Demonstrated experience interacting with Senior Leadership in both NNL and NRLFO
- Demonstrated experience in motivating and training others

Pay Range
Salary information provided is a general guide line only. Annual salary is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations
The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is operated for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) by Fluor Marine Propulsion, LLC (FMP), a wholly owned subsidiary of Fluor Corporation.
