Project Manager I from Orangepeople

About the Job
As a Project Manager, you will be partnering with a team of content owners that works across the VR development ecosystem to deliver hit games. Ideal candidates are methodical thinkers who can break down complex problems, build solutions, and deliver actionable insights while working in a dynamic environment. This role will work cross-functionally with Procurement, Legal, Marketing, and Publishing.
Core Responsibilities:
- Support developer onboarding and procurement for third-party developers.
- Work will be focused on supply chain/procurement/purchasing projects bringing on new vendors into applicable systems, confirming FTC compliance, tracking signatures, etc.
- Work with cross-functional partners to troubleshoot cases that are stuck.
- Keep trackers updated and update stakeholders with the status of onboarding with a high degree of ownership and accountability.
- Provide feedback on where we could optimize processes and improve workflow for project deliveries and execution.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational excellence by sharing best practices.
- Work closely with Legal to manage contract and statement-of-work drafting and approval processes.
- Work cross-functionally to drive execution and hold people accountable for deliverables.
Key Qualifications:
- 3+ years of business-related project management.
- 2+ years within supply chain/procurement/purchasing management.
- Verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage one's time.
- Demonstrated knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
- Knowledge of computer software, Google Suite, spreadsheet creation, and modification.
- High attention to detail when documenting workflows, schedules, and trackers.
- Exhibits a high degree of ownership and accountability.
Preferred Qualifications:
- BA/BSc, or equivalent.
- Experience with Salesforce and CRM tools.
- Platform QA and new hardware development experience.
- Working directly with 3rd party developers to release content on a platform.
- A passion for technology and the XR industry.

Additional Responsibilities:
- Participate in OrangePeople monthly team meetings, and participate in team-building efforts.
- Contribute to OrangePeople technical discussions, peer reviews, etc.
- Contribute content and collaborate via the OP-Wiki/Knowledge Base.
- Provide status reports to OP Account Management as requested.
