Plath & Co applies special artistry and the highest standards to the building process. We are seeking a jobsite Superintendent to join our competent team.
Qualifications
· 10+ years’ experience in a supervisory role in the construction industry, with a focus on single family residential projects.
· Proven track record for successfully managing high-end custom home projects from pre-construction through completion
· Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials and legal requirements.
· Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with employees, subcontractors, construction managers and clients.
· Detail oriented with the ability to review and understand complex construction drawings and specifications.
Responsibilities:
· Superintendent will work closely with our team of skilled professionals to ensure our projects are completed on time, within budget and to the highest possible standards.
· The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of high-end luxury residential construction from pre-construction to completion.
· Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, material deliveries and other site resources.
· Review construction drawings to ensure they meet project specifications and standards.
· Ensure work is performed safely and in accordance with plans and specifications and in compliance with local building codes and Cal-OSHA.
· Professionally representing the company with the Owner, Architects, Subcontractors, Employees, Suppliers, neighbors and other stakeholders throughout the project.
· Maintain accurate timesheets for all onsite personnel and ensure work was carried out in compliance with relevant regulations.
· Project recordkeeping in daily job logs, construction photographs and safety documentation.
· Maintaining plans, specifications, as-builts, RFI’s, submittals and keeping the site files and documents organized.
· Working closely with the Owner, Architects, Project Manager and Office.
· Provide training and mentorship to junior staff members.
