Title: Project Manager - Heavy Civil Construction
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with expertise in roadway, earthwork, underground utilities, and site concrete to oversee construction projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing civil construction projects and coordinating multiple subcontractors and trades.
Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Coordination:
- Develop and execute project plans, schedules, and budgets for earthwork, underground utilities, and site concrete projects.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources.

Construction Management:
- Supervise all phases of construction, including excavation, grading, utility installation, and concrete work.
- Monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.

Budgeting and Cost Control:
- Prepare project budgets and cost estimates, tracking expenses and managing project costs throughout the construction process.
- Review and approve subcontractor invoices and change orders, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project scope.

Client Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular project updates, addressing concerns, and resolving conflicts as they arise.
- Maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and repeat business opportunities.

Team Leadership:
- Lead project teams, including field personnel, subcontractors, and support staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Provide direction, guidance, and support to team members, promoting safety, quality, and efficiency in all aspects of project execution.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in heavy civil project management, with a preferred focus on roadway, earthwork, underground utilities, and site concrete construction.
- Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment used in civil construction projects.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Procore or Primavera P6 or HCSS is preferred.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements and permitting processes related to construction projects.
