Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute project plans and schedules, ensuring all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
2. Oversee all stages of project life cycle, including pre-construction, construction, and project closeouts.
3. Manage project bidding process, including preparation of bid documents, analysis of bid proposals, and selection of contractors.
4. Implement cost control measures to ensure project profitability.
5. Administer contracts, ensuring all parties adhere to agreed terms and conditions.
6. Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring tasks are clearly understood and effectively executed.
7. Effectively communicate project expectations and progress to team members and stakeholders.
8. Identify and manage project risks, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.
9. Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards, maintaining a safe and risk-free workspace.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a project management role within the construction industry.
3. Proficiency in project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
4. Demonstrated experience in project bidding, creating project schedules, pre-construction, project closeouts, cost control, and contract administration.
5. Exceptional leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
6. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
7. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
8. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to fast-paced, changing environments.
9. Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and standards.
10. PMP or equivalent certification is an advantage.
