We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Project Manager with a specialty in Healthcare Construction. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex construction projects, with a particular focus on hospital construction, cancer centers, and renovations. This role requires a deep understanding of OSHPD regulations and a passion for creating healthcare environments that promote healing and comfort. Responsibilities
As a Permanent Project Manager-Healthcare Construction, you will be expected to:
1. Oversee all aspects of healthcare construction projects from inception to completion. This includes planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing out projects.
2. Manage the design and construction of healthcare facilities, including hospitals and cancer centers.
3. Ensure all projects are compliant with OSHPD regulations and other relevant healthcare construction standards.
4. Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
5. Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
6. Conduct risk assessments and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential project issues.
7. Communicate effectively with all project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
8. Foster a culture of safety and quality, ensuring all project activities comply with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you will need:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing healthcare construction projects, with a focus on hospital construction, cancer centers, and renovations.
2. Proven experience in working with OSHPD regulations.
3. A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications will be considered an advantage.
4. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams towards successful project completion.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with various project stakeholders.
6. Proficient in project management software and other relevant computer applications.
7. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and resolve project issues effectively.
8. A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of health and safety.
9. Willingness to travel as required for project needs.
