We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Project Manager for Healthcare Construction. This individual will be a key player in our construction team, responsible for the successful delivery of healthcare construction projects, from ground-up hospital construction to renovations and expansions. The Project Manager will possess a unique blend of leadership, strategic thinking, and technical expertise, with a strong background in healthcare construction. Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of healthcare construction projects from inception to completion, including ground-up construction, renovations, and expansions.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to develop detailed project plans and specifications.
- Implement robust project management processes and systems to monitor progress, manage risks, and resolve issues.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities, to ensure all project requirements are met.
- Lead project meetings and provide regular project updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Foster a culture of safety and quality, ensuring all construction activities comply with health and safety regulations and quality standards.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement lessons learned into future projects.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience in project management, specifically in the field of healthcare construction.
- Proven track record of managing healthcare construction projects, including ground-up hospital construction, renovations, and expansions.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations, with a particular focus on healthcare facilities.
- Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and resolve issues effectively and efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficient in project management software and other relevant technology.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is a plus.
