About the Job
The Conservation and Environment Delivery center is seeking the talent ofsomeone with strong administrative skills to help manage the businessrequirements for the Commonwealth’s software approval process. This positionwill focus on facilitating and processing the software requests received by thedelivery center from supported agencies, ensuring that there is goodcommunication with our customers throughout the process. The approval process islong and complex, and there is currently a backlog of requests. To succeed inthis position, candidates will need to be a self-starter who is organized anddetail oriented, as well as possess excellent customer service skills.Primary Responsibilities Include:Working directly with customers in our agencies to gather and document businessrequirements needed to comply with established policy and procedures within theorganization.Gathering, preparing, and submitting information and documentation to thevarious security, legal and administrative approvers required in the process.Meeting with a diverse group of stakeholders, to include legal, business, andsecurity teams, to help ensure timely processing and approval of businessrequests.Reviewing, interpreting, and providing input on contract agreements and otherbusiness-related contractual documents.Collaborating with vendors ensuring clear communication of Commonwealthrequirements and cloud use documentation where required.Researching whether there is already a current solution in use in theCommonwealth that would meet the documented business needs.Providing general guidance to our customers on the business approval process andits underlying policies and processes.Overall tracking and managing of the backlog of requests.Facilitating any requests for additional information that may arise during theapproval process.Serving as an overall point of contact and subject matter expert for both agencyand delivery center staff.Required Experience:1. Required: 2+ years full-time experience managing projects, programmanagement, or process administration (does not need to be in an officialcapacity as a project/program manager).2. Required: 3+ years full-time experience dealing directly with customers.3. Required: 1+ years of experience in vendor management.4. Required: Strong leadership and organizational skills.
