We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Project Manager to join our team in the construction industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and driving all aspects of construction projects, from planning to implementation. This role will involve working on a variety of projects, including underground utilities, water, sewer, civil infrastructure, CMAR, design/build, JOC, grading, and structural concrete. The Project Manager will be a key player in ensuring that our projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all aspects of construction project management, from initial planning and budgeting through to project completion.
2. Manage and coordinate project teams, including contractors, subcontractors, engineers, and architects.
3. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including health and safety requirements.
4. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost estimates.
5. Coordinate and oversee the procurement of materials and equipment.
6. Manage relationships with clients, stakeholders, and authorities.
7. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
8. Conduct site inspections and meetings to monitor progress and ensure quality standards are met.
9. Prepare and present regular project reports and updates to senior management.
10. Continually assess and manage project risks, and implement mitigation strategies as needed.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years' experience in project management in the construction industry, with a focus on underground utilities, water, sewer, civil infrastructure, CMAR, design/build, JOC, grading, and structural concrete.
3. Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering construction projects on time and within budget.
4. Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
5. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
6. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
7. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage relationships with a range of stakeholders.
8. Proficient in project management software and MS Office Suite.
9. Professional Project Management (PMP) certification would be an advantage.
10. Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
