Job Details
We're on the hunt for a dynamic, driven, and experienced Project Manager to join our thriving team. This role presents an exciting opportunity to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects, ensuring they are carried out to the highest standards of safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing projects from inception to completion, with a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
1. Leading the planning and implementation of construction projects, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables, and developing full-scale project plans.
2. Managing project budgets and resources, ensuring all projects are delivered on-time and within budget.
3. Coordinating with various stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and clients, to ensure all aspects of the project are aligned.
4. Performing quality control tasks, including inspections, to ensure work meets or exceeds the set standards and safety codes.
5. Negotiating contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.
6. Identifying and managing project risks, and implementing problem-solving solutions as required.
7. Overseeing project staff and subcontractors, providing guidance and support as needed.
8. Providing regular project updates to senior management and stakeholders.
9. Ensuring all legal requirements, building and safety codes, safety inspections, city guidelines, and local and state regulations are met.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 3+ years of experience in Project Management.
2. Proven experience in construction management, budgeting, contract management, scheduling, strategic planning, problem-solving, and negotiation.
3. Hands-on experience in carpentry, plumbing, drywall, and inspections.
4. Comprehensive knowledge of safety codes and commercial construction.
5. Exceptional leadership, organizational, and time-management skills.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and negotiate with various stakeholders.
7. Proficiency in project management software tools.
8. A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
9. Certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent would be an added advantage.
