We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager specializing in Geotechnical Construction to join our fast-paced team. This position calls for a strategic thinker who can manage complex projects, lead teams, and ensure that our geotechnical construction projects are executed efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of drilling, ground improvement, earth retention, grouting, and shoring. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers an excellent opportunity to utilize and further develop your technical skills in a challenging and rewarding environment.
Responsibilities:
As a Project Manager in Geotechnical Construction, you will:
1. Lead, plan, organize, and manage complex geotechnical construction projects from initiation to completion.
2. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure all project objectives are met within the stipulated timeline and budget.
3. Develop and maintain project schedules, cost estimates, and forecasts.
4. Manage all aspects of drilling, ground improvement, earth retention, grouting, and shoring.
5. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
6. Evaluate project performance and implement necessary changes to enhance efficiency.
7. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status.
8. Resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the project lifecycle.
9. Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting teamwork and innovation.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification is a plus.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in geotechnical construction, with a focus on drilling, ground improvement, earth retention, grouting, and shoring.
3. Proven experience in managing complex projects, with a track record of delivering results on time and within budget.
4. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
5. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions under pressure.
6. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
8. A strong commitment to safety and environmental compliance.
9. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel as needed.
