Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all phases of assigned commercial construction projects, from pre-construction through project closeout.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors and owners to ensure project specifications and timelines are met.
- Review and negotiate sub-contracts, manage change orders, and handle any disputes or issues that arise.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors and stakeholders, providing regular project updates and addressing any concerns.
- Ensure all project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and daily logs, is accurately maintained and up-to-date.
- Manage project financials, including forecasting, billing, and tracking expenses to ensure projects remain profitable.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field of study
- 5+ years of commercial construction experience at a General Contractor
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Project Management in the Construction industry
- Prior experience with single-story and 2-story ground-up builds as well as commercial tenant improvements (banking and retail project experience strongly preferred)
- Strong project estimating and scheduling skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Project Management Software (AutoDesk), Estimating Software (ProEst), and Scheduling Software (MS Project)
