Our customer is seeking a dynamic, results-oriented Project Manager to join the Engineering team. This role will oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of specific short-term and long-term projects which have a beginning, an end, and specified deliverables. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading teams to deliver project(s) that span across one or more business units, manage resources, schedules, financials and adhere to quality control throughout the full project life cycle. This also includes management of issues, risks and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery.

Responsibilities:

Lead the planning and implementation of project.
Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables.
Develop full scale project plans.
Assemble and coordinate project staff.
Manage project budget and resource allocation.
Plan and schedule project timelines.
Track project deliverables using appropriate tools.
Provide direction and support to project team.
Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders.
Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
Project evaluations and assessment of results.
Ensure all project documents are safely archived following project completion.
Manage a large and diverse team of professionals to ensure the achievement of project goals.
Coordinate with cross-discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical or related field).
5+ years of project management experience in the engineering industry.
Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
Experience with Automation and Controls, Warehouse Automation, and Critical Chain Project Management.
Proven ability to solve problems creatively.
Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle.
Excellent analytical skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful.
Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to lead project teams of various sizes and see them through to completion.
Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies.
