Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility for project execution, profit and loss management, and securing new work
- Develop and maintain a project safety program, fostering a culture of safety
- Implement and oversee quality management plan and quality culture
- Coordinate and manage design deliverables, permits, procurement, and construction
- Review design compliance, cost optimization, and constructability
- Monitor project performance and prepare status reports
- Manage design risks and contract obligations
- Verify progress payments and maintain client relationships
- Select, onboard, and place staff for projects
- Contribute to district committees and initiatives
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders
- Support a culture of profitability and solutions
- Other duties as required
Qualifications:
- Associate or bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred
- 10+ years of progressive construction experience in commercial projects
- Experience in estimating support is desirable
- In-depth knowledge of the construction industry, materials, methods, safety, and quality management
- Familiarity with diverse project types and construction methods
- Understanding of insurance, bonding, contracts, and legal requirements
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle staffing issues
- Strong conflict-resolution, problem-solving, and judgment skills
- Experience leading teams of 15+ members
