The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing various construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner. You will be working closely with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure that the project is carried out according to plan. Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning and execution of construction projects from inception to completion
- Develop and manage project schedules and budgets, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Lead contract negotiations, manage vendor relationships, and oversee the procurement of materials and equipment
- Implement risk management processes to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks that could impact project delivery
- Ensure quality control measures are in place and adhered to, maintaining the highest standards of workmanship on all projects
- Lead and manage a team of construction professionals, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns or issues that arise
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field - preferred but not required
- Proven experience in scheduling, cost control, budgeting, contract management, risk management, quality control, team leadership, and communication
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions under pressure
- Proficiency in project management software
