About the Job
Kalman & Company’s Business Analytics team seeks motivated, experienced professionals to join our growing team of cost analysts serving Federal and DoD clients. As part of our team, you’ll provide our Government clients with strategic programming, planning, and advisory support services. This position will support Fort Meade, MD; onsite work is required. This position is tied to a contract award targeted in the first quarter of 2025. The salary range for this position is $115K/year-$130K/year.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the overall management of programs and projects.
- Develop required documentation to support the communication of each program and project status (briefings, portals and dashboards, etc.)
- Develop program schedules to include a work breakdown structure (WBS) for program and projects supported.
- Identify any critical path items, mission impact, and required due dates as part of schedules, WBS documentation and briefings.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- US Citizenship.
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience performing project management for defense, intelligence, or civil agency programs
- Proven leadership abilities with experience leading cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment of goals and collaboration across diverse stakeholders.
- Expertise in team coordination, task delegation, and maintaining team morale to meet project milestones effectively.
- Knowledge of risk management, including identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks to ensure project success.
- Strong skills in resource planning, ensuring efficient allocation and utilization of personnel, budget, and tools to achieve project objectives.
- Strong stakeholder communication skills, with the ability to provide clear, concise updates and manage expectations across all levels of the organization.
- Comprehensive experience in project lifecycle management, from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale IT projects for Government and DoD customers, ensuring compliance with federal standards and policies.
- Skilled in developing and maintaining key project artifacts, including:
- Integrated Master Schedules
- Work Breakdown Structures
- Project schedules and related documentation.
- Proficiency in tools and platforms such as:
- Microsoft SharePoint for collaboration and document management.
- Microsoft Project for project scheduling and tracking.
Preferred:
- PMP certification.
- Experience working in classified environments and familiarity with DoD processes such as Earned Value Management (EVM).
