About the Job
Evolver Federal is looking for a Project Manager to join our team in support of our DoD customer located at Ft. Knox, KY. As part of a team, the Project Manager is responsible for the management and oversight of Information Technology projects or initiatives and providing support for the Project Management and Integration Division (PMID).
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a Master Milestone Schedule (MMS) that contains projected schedules versus actual deliverable progress. Update the MMS monthly throughout the contract period of performance to track progress on projects.
- Ensure that all project team members and stakeholders have a clear and working understanding of what the Government's outcome will be.
- Ensure project control leveraging milestones (clear, unambiguous targets) and establish a means of communication to monitor progress, to receive early warning of issues, promote cooperation, and motivate through team involvement. Provide leadership updates as required.
- Provide support for all C4IM project phases (Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitor and Controlling, and Closing) ensuring formal acceptance tests based on the success criteria defined in the implementation plan for the project. The project senior sponsor shall sign‐off on the acceptance. The format of acceptance tests will be approved by USACC.
- Perform analysis of communications, automation systems and support operations requirements and services provided to support the requirements. This will be done in close coordination with the other mission areas.
- Conduct stakeholder engagements to gather high level documentation or detailed requirements that will involve the review of current business processes, creation of supporting documentation (use case definition, project management plans, etc.). Develop project schedules and assist in creating work breakdown structures (WBS), in order to implement process improvement under the direction of USACC G6.
- Verify and validate the requirements necessary for an organic C4IM capability and or support analysis to identify the organization(s) (internal/external) that accurately address and achieve the goals of the current and future USACC Strategic Plans.
- Document risks, issues, and lessons learned registers during the initiate, manage and control phase of a project to its completion. The format of these documents will be approved USACC G6.
- Change Management. The contractor shall support the Change Management and configuration management, coordination and facilitation of activities and projects. The IT Change Management Process includes:
- Ensure consistency with enterprise‐wide configuration management activities and provide individual system updates to enterprise CM plans.
- Conduct configuration audits and reviews to verify and validate that newly developed system releases conform to approved functional and physical specifications. Estimate the resources required to perform development and maintenance activities.
- Provide forecasts and report actual deviations from schedules and deliverables in the Change Advisory Board (CAB) and the Change Control Board (CCB).
- Store system documentation in the Configuration Management Database. Provide advance notification of planned software modifications. Coordinate modifications through the Change Control Process.
- Support the development and tracking of command Change Management directives that support the IT deployment integration efforts.
Basic Qualifications
- A United States (U.S.) Citizen with a current DoD Secret Clearance
- Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check, inclusive of drug screening.
- Must reside within a commutable distance of Ft. Knox, KY to work onsite full time
- Bachelor's Degree OR Ten (10) years of Information Management experience supporting military organizations may be substituted for the degree.
- Must be willing to travel if/when needed to other customer locations within the United States (U.S.) and to U.S. territories (approximately 10%).

- Possess a thorough knowledge and experience of the Army organizational structure, mission objectives, function, procedures, agency regulations, and policy pertaining to the Department of the Army.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; specifically, Excel, Word, and Outlook a must.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
