Project Manager - Financial Data Warehouse at Trigyn Technologies Inc

Immediate contract opportunity for Project Manager with direct client in New York City.

The Project manager will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating with Markit EDM the implementation of a financial data warehouse. The candidate will be responsible for tracking the project progress through monitoring, evaluation and reporting.

Primary Responsibilities and Activities
• Provide technical expertise and strategic guidance in effectively planning and implementing a financial data warehouse activities to ensure achievement of targets and results.
• Coordinating work plan activities with Markit EDM (resources, budget, timeline).
• Developing comprehensive/detailed project work-plans that include all project activities and roles and responsibilities of the stakeholders and setting-out corresponding milestones.
• Monitoring the progress of implementation of project activities and key event schedules observing the work-plans and set deadlines.
• Conducting steering committees and reporting to the Project Board.
• Maintaining regular communication with stakeholders and Markit EDM.

Expected Deliverables:
During the assignment the Project Manager will be responsible for delivering the following items:
• Accrued interest reconciliation between IBOR (Investment Book of Records) and ABOR (Accounting Book of Records) systems
• Populate the data warehouse with a fundamental data set using custodian data.

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, or a similar field.
• 7 years or more proven experience in project management and stakeholder engagement.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in financial data warehouse implementation
• 3 to 5 years of experience with financial products.
