Job Title: Project Manager/Estimator

Location: Proximity to Lindenhurst, NY
Salary: $75-100K/yr Commensurate with experience, inclusive of benefits
Status: Direct hire, FT, On-Site
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee multiple projects from contract award to final completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
Comprehend contract drawings and shop drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
Perform material and labor takeoffs to accurately estimate project costs and requirements.
Proficiency in Acad or Tekla to perform light steel detailing corrections to shop drawings.
Effectively communicate with contractors, suppliers, engineers, and architects to coordinate project activities and resolve issues as they arise.
Create and manage Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, transmittals, change orders, and material takeoffs.
Estimate costs for change orders and manage the change order process.
Attend site visits and subcontractor meetings to ensure project progress and address any concerns.
Conduct field meetings to review project status, address challenges, and ensure project milestones are met.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management within the construction industry.
Ability to interpret and analyze technical drawings and specifications.
Proficiency in computer programs such as Excel, Word, Outlook, and AutoCAD.
