Workforce Solutions partners directly with teams looking to hire top talent. We are currently working with a family-owned construction company that specializes in tile work looking for an experienced Project Manager / Estimator to join their Sun Prairie, WI team.

What's the role?
We're looking for someone to take charge of managing projects, ensuring seamless execution, and maintaining the client's commitment to quality and excellence.
What You'll Do:
- Lead commercial flooring projects from start to finish, including:
- Estimating, bidding, and strategizing project costs
- Ordering materials and scheduling installations
- Coordinating with contractors and ensuring quality standards are met
- Manage both in-house and subcontracted work to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
- Oversee job supervision, addressing challenges, and maintaining open communication with contractors and clients.
- Prepare project takeoffs, strategize profit margins, and handle invoicing.
What experience and skills do I need to be successful?
- Experience: 2-3 years of experience in construction estimating and project management.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the construction industry, blueprint reading, and project takeoffs.
- Skills: Proficiency in estimating, project management, and managing complex workflows.
- Education: While formal education or a degree is a plus, practical experience and skills are prioritized.
- Character: Thick skin and excellent communication skills to navigate contractor discussions and maintain workmanship quality.

What will my schedule look like?
This salaried role generally works onsite during office hours Monday-Friday 8a-5p with some flexibility needed for project need.
