Project Manager/Estimator - Drywall - Gpac

Position Overview
The Project Manager/Estimator will play a dual role in managing projects from inception to completion and accurately estimating costs for drywall projects. This position requires a balance of technical expertise, project leadership, and client relationship management to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management:

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee drywall projects from start to finish.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of all phases.
• Monitor project progress, manage budgets, and address issues as they arise.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, and general contractors to meet project requirements.
• Supervise field staff and subcontractors to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Conduct site visits to track project progress and resolve on-site challenges.

Estimating:

• Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for drywall projects, including materials, labor, and equipment.
• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other project documents to determine scope.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids.
• Present estimates to clients, negotiate terms, and secure project agreements.
• Maintain up-to-date cost databases and pricing models.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in project management and estimating for a drywall subcontractor or related field.
• Strong understanding of drywall systems, materials, and construction processes.
• Proficient in estimating software (e.g., On-Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
