Job Purpose
This position requires working with a variety of people including clients, coworkers, and subcontractors. Employees must maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality while interacting with all, both over the phone, in person, and via email. This position is responsible for estimating assigned job opportunities, being involved in the sales process as needed, and managing the work for assigned jobs. This included but is not limited to communicating with clients, receiving subcontractor estimates, and scheduling work to be done.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
· Read and interpret plans and repair specifications from engineers and architects.
· Estimate and forecast project costs.
· Gathers details and compiles data from job site observations.
· Contacts subcontractors to bid specific trade items, if required.
· Tracks and meets deadlines set by clients and management.
· Incorporates OSHA and building code requirements into all estimates.
· Displays creativity and latitude.
· Participates in safety meetings; wears proper personal protective equipment.
· Retain confidentiality within as well as outside of the office.
· Work as a team with other employees.
· Review the work progress on daily basis and manage job costs.
· Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
· Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses.
· Participate in safety meetings; wears proper personal protective equipment.
· Perform the duties above efficiently and effectively and in a workmanlike manner.
Required Qualifications
· Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
· Experience in reconstruction industry preferred, but not required.
· Enthusiastic - Ability to bring energy to the performance of a task.
· Sensitive Information Discretion- Discretion in divulging information that may be sensitive in a personal or organizational nature.
· Accuracy - Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.

Preferred Qualifications
· Multiple years of experience in the construction industry.
· Associates degree in construction science/construction management, or equivalent of work experience.
