About the Job
Position Summary:
Provide overall management and direction for mechanical construction projects ranging from $0.5 million to $1.5 Million or greater.
Hiring Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management or equivalent, plus extensive experience/knowledge of construction, design, finance, and management required.
- At least two years of experience in construction design, finance, and management desirable. Education may be substituted for experience.
- Must have a working knowledge of structural, mechanical, and electrical civil and building practices and concepts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Superior organization skills, ability to make independent decisions and multi-task.
- Excellent business acumen.
- Confidence in directing and coordinating staff, sub-contractors and consultants.
- Innovative and effective management techniques to maximize employee performance.
- Thorough understanding of construction software, corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, etc. and their impact on project activities.
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Office, scheduling software (Primavera, Microsoft Project etc.)
- CSL or willingness to obtain within one year of hire date.
- Valid unrestricted Driver's License
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen (including marijuana) and DOT physical.
