Job Summary: EMCOR Government Services, Inc. is seeking an energetic experienced professional to serve in the capacity of a Project Manager in Mechanicsburg, PA. The successful candidate will have experience creating / devising strategies, mentoring people at all levels, sponsoring projects and proposing technical solutions. This position involves leading teams in a critical facility environment. All candidates should be willing to work both independently and managing their teams effectively. Work prioritization, organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to react quickly are critical to being successful. In addition to strong knowledge in Data Centers, hardware and network repair, candidates will create documentation, innovate solutions, participate in site-level project work, and fix complex problems within the Data Center Space. This team works in an environment that operates 24 / 7. This role reports to the Executive Director of Operations.

JOB TITLE: Project Manager (DISA)
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Serve as the site’s primary point of contact available 24 / 7 / 365 who is responsible for work performance and has authority to address contractual issues.
+ Possess technical expertise of data center infrastructure components like power systems, cooling systems, network infrastructure, and security measures.
+ Evaluate new technologies and vendor proposals to ensure alignment with project requirements.
+ Monitor project progress against established milestones and address any deviations.
+ Manage expectations and address concerns throughout the project lifecycle.
+ Develop an organization with a customer service orientation to internal stakeholders on both the data center and government operations sides of the business, cultivating a project delivery strategy and working to align extended stakeholders around the nuances of that strategy.
+ Manage assigned projects to meet service delivery objectives as well as escalate to appropriate stakeholders to remove obstacles.
+ Oversee IDIQ activities; drive continuous improvements through control implementation for identified risks.
+ Oversee predictive / preventive maintenance and repairs for electrical and mechanical systems for mission-critical, 24 / 7 / 365 data center environment.
+ Direct site operations, work schedules, and subcontractors and ensure work meets service demands, objectives, and quality and safety requirements.
+ Responsible for overseeing project staffing, performance evaluations, and disciplinary issues.
+ Meet regularly with Client Facility Manager(s) and customers to discuss operations, performance, project work, schedule, and budget.
+ Develop and submit status and performance reports and evaluations.
+ Coordinate activities such as utility outages or other work that may disrupt the site with customer facility management, to include submission of maintenance outage requests.
+ Oversee project work for repair and replacement of equipment and systems, including budget, estimate preparation, and ensure project meets schedule, budget, and scope requirements.
+ Update configuration management documentation for mechanical systems as needed.
+ Work with the Facilities HVAC & Electrical Teams to implement regular maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime.
+ Oversee work of external vendors, service providers, and contractors.
+ Must be willing to be part of the after-hours notification and escalation protocol.
+ Must wear personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, safety shoes, hard hats, and hearing protection where the company requires.
QUALIFICATIONS:
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Management, or related field desired, but not required. Field experience can offset educational requirements.
+ Minimum of 3 years of management experience in a mission-critical environment required.
+ Must be a U.S. Citizen, and must currently have, or be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance
+ Minimum of 3 years of direct experience facilities management of mission-critical data center environments.
+ 2+ years of experience managing and developing people in a technical environment
+ 3+ years of experience with hardware architecture and troubleshooting experience
+ 3+ years of experience with system management tools and client/server environments
+ Experience working for federal customers a plus.
+ Experience and / or familiarity with Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) principles, emergency power generation systems, building automation systems, plants, and IT operations a major plus.
+ Experience in working with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) applications.
+ Knowledge of data center management tools and monitoring systems.
+ Technical writing experience
+ Project management experience
+ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Must work on-site; no telecommuting permitted.
+ Must possess a current, valid state-issued driver’s license
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
+ Primarily walking, standing, and bending with some sitting.
+ Ability to communicate effectively with verbal, visual and listening skills
+ Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate any required equipment as well as to operate computer keyboard, mouse, and other technical instruments.
+ Able to lift and carry heavy equipment, up to 50 pounds.
+ Ability to climb ladders and work on raised platforms.
