The Project Manager ensures projects and programs meet customer and company requirements by providing technical and business project leadership across functional boundaries for different phases of product development and support programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensures attainment of project and program schedules, budgets, procedures and revenues by developing and monitoring the budget and approval process.
• Leads cross functional teams (internal and external to engineering) and resolves inter-functional issues through connections with regional and global system owners.
• Establishes and communicates project and program schedules, objectives, priorities, and targets.
• Integrates project execution of Manufacturing Execution Systems with overall plant digital and automation strategy.
• Monitors the status of programs and project, provides technical interpretation and expertise, ensures adherence to policies, procedures, government regulations, and customer specifications.
• Ensures the documentation of project and program activities and deliverables.
• Ensures proper system integration by overseeing the development of the systems integration and systems assurance test plans and procedures; reviews test results.
• Keeps senior management informed on project and program status by creating, maintaining, and presenting written reports on project and program status, tests, costs, issues, and performance against established targets on a regular basis.
• Research business and technical issues to establish what is being done and where improvements are possible.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational seminars and trade shows, reviewing professional publications and analyzing new trends, and establishing personal networks.
• Leads processes to develop and implement (via FPX methodology) new product capability, including bid/quote process, equipment purchase, project planning, pilot batches, trial batches, line trials, specification and artwork development, stability validation protocols, and production start-up.
• Reliability crisis leadership for major supply interruptions. This includes organizing and leading cross-functional teams to understand root cause and implement solutions to minimize impact to customer service.
• Ensures quality and compliance in all actions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of six (6) to eight (8) years of related experience with 1-2 years in project leadership.
• Project Management negotiation, influencing and presentation skills.
• Strategic mindset, outstanding critical thinking, influencing, and interpersonal and stakeholder management skills are required.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience in Plant operations.
• Experience in Manufacturing Execution Systems.
• Technical writing abilities.
• PMP and/or Lean certification.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
