Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager with a background in automotive projects to lead and oversee complex construction projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing projects such as automotive manufacturing facilities. This role requires exceptional leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Must be willing to travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all phases of construction projects, from pre-construction planning to project completion.
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and scopes of work.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Monitor project progress, ensuring quality standards and compliance with safety regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to address challenges.
- Lead project meetings, providing updates to clients and internal teams.
- Manage procurement processes, including materials and vendor selection.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, zoning regulations, and environmental standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Project Manager.
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale construction projects on time and within budget.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and best practices.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera, MS Project).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel to project sites.
