- Required: Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or a relevant technical/management field.
- Minimum of 5 years IT Project Management experience.
- Strongly Preferred: PMP Certification, previous experience as a Project Manager in the healthcare space.
Job Summary:
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work independently to manage complex projects involving coordination of multiple participants and teams aimed at improving operating systems and functions within the department, hospital, or region.
- Maintain a high level of responsibility for project completion with strategic implications.
- Conduct reviews of Hospital/Medical Group areas on a project basis and act as a project lead for individual or multi-analyst projects.
- Prepare project plans including scheduling, costs, personnel matters, and other operational concerns.
- Develop and refine project scope and objectives.
- Guide day-to-day activities of the project team.
- Facilitate and/or lead meetings and teams.
- Provide periodic project updates to hospital administration, preparing project management reports, and coordinating written and verbal presentations of project findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
- Analyze client systems, procedures, and operations to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Document current systems and operations.
- Establish work schedules and priorities to ensure controlled workflow.
- Identify internal staff development needs and opportunities for enhancement of staff skills.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of four (4) years in Operations Analysis, Management Engineering, Operations Management, or a related analytical field in healthcare or management consulting directed toward process improvement.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Previous supervisory and/or consulting experience preferred.
Required Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering, or a relevant technical/management field.
Preferred Education:
- Master's Degree preferred.
Salary
60 - 70 /hour
