We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Project Manager to join our team, focusing on the ground-up construction of Data Centers. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large scale construction projects, specifically in the realm of mission-critical data centers. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring the highest levels of quality and performance are met. Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Project Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing all stages of project life cycle management from initiation to completion.
2. Planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to the deadlines and within budget.
3. Coordinating with architects, subcontractors, and all other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
4. Managing risks and issues, implementing mitigation measures as necessary.
5. Ensuring quality control procedures are meticulously implemented and the final product meets the project objectives and the client expectations.
6. Ensuring adherence to health and safety standards in all aspects of project execution.
7. Preparing and presenting project updates to relevant stakeholders, including clients and management.
8. Managing project documentation and ensuring all aspects of the project are correctly and completely recorded for future reference.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the role of Permanent Project Manager-Data Center Ground Up Construction will have the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Project Manager role, specifically in ground-up construction of data centers.
2. Proven experience as a Mission Critical Project Manager and/or Data Center Project Manager.
3. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
4. Strong understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles.
5. Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.
6. Exceptional leadership, organizational, and time-management skills.
7. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
8. Proficient in project management software.
9. PMP or equivalent certification would be considered an advantage.
