We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager within the construction space to join our team. This role is an exciting opportunity to take the lead in overseeing projects from conception to completion, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. You will be working closely with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals, making this a role that is both challenging and rewarding.
Responsibilities:
1. Planning and defining project scope, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
2. Developing detailed project plans to monitor and track progress.
3. Managing changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
4. Ensuring resource availability and allocation.
5. Measuring project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
6. Reporting and escalating issues to management as needed.
7. Managing the relationship with all stakeholders.
8. Performing risk management to minimize project risks.
9. Establishing and maintaining relationships with third parties/vendors.
10. Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 8 years of experience in project management within the construction industry.
2. Proven working experience in project management, including record of successful project delivery.
3. Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in construction and project management.
4. Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
6. Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
7. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management tools.
8. Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.
9. Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus.
10. Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, demonstrating resilience and ability to work in a complex and highly dynamic environment.
11. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis.
12. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
