Job Details:
We are looking to bring on a Project Manager for our in-office team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of steel construction projects within the design phase. This is a permanent, full-time position, offering an exciting opportunity to lead and influence large scale, high profile construction projects.

Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of steel construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
Oversee the design and drafting process, ensuring all designs are accurate, efficient, and compliant with industry standards.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to develop project plans and timelines.
Utilize AutoCAD to create detailed project plans and blueprints.
Monitor project progress, making adjustments as needed to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
Ensure all construction activities comply with health and safety regulations.
Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring work is performed to the highest quality standards.
Prepare and present project updates and progress reports to stakeholders.
Resolve any issues or delays that may impact project timelines or budgets.
Conduct site inspections to ensure all work is being carried out according to project plans and specifications.
Foster positive relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure project success.

Qualifications:

0 - 4 years of experience in the construction industry at some capacity.
Proficiency with AutoCAD or similar design software is essential.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and safety regulations.
Exceptional project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with a diverse team of professionals.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to secure the best prices for materials and labor.
Must be willing to travel to construction sites as needed.
PMP or equivalent project management certification is considered an asset.
