Transwall, a leading manufacturer of movable floor-to-ceiling and architectural wall systems, is looking for a Project Manager to join our dynamic team. Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual passionate about product assembly and project management to assist with post-sale projects. Ideal candidates should have experience in construction trades, with a background in furniture or architectural wall installations. Familiarity with the construction process and the ability to read architectural drawings and construction documents is preferred. This role is based at our headquarters in West Chester, PA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate on-site tasks between trades and installers
- Build and maintain relationships with General Contractors and Construction Managers
- Negotiate project-related issues as needed
- Ensure clear communication with team members and clients
- Oversee and manage service orders
- Attend project management meetings and provide updates
- Gather and report accurate field dimensions
- Assist with site surveys and walkthroughs
Qualifications:
- Willingness to travel 2-3 days per week
- Ability to read and understand architectural plans and construction documents
- Proficiency in MS Office and mobile technology
- Knowledge of building systems (ceilings, lighting, sprinklers, HVAC)
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred
- 2-3 years of relevant industry experience
Requirements:
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills
- Ability to develop relationships at all levels (RSMs, General Contractors, Dealers, Clients)
- In-depth understanding of Transwall products and applications
- Proficient in the use of tape measures, laser measurers, and laser levels
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
