Overview
Our Award Winning Client seeks a skilled Project Manager for a full-time onsite position. Our client, a nationally recognized leader in the industry, has won numerous awards for excellence. The Project Manager will oversee a variety of large-scale commercial and industrial projects.
Ideal Candidate
We seek a candidate with a proven track record in constructing large and intricate industrial, commercial, or mission-critical projects such as airports, data centers, refineries, and power plants. The ideal candidate thrives under tight deadlines and excels in high-pressure environments. They possess exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail. This individual should demonstrate expertise in managing demanding clients, navigating challenging sites, orchestrating complex scopes of work, and adhering to demanding schedules. Responsibilities
As a Senior Project Manager, your responsibilities include:
- Enforcing safety and quality management policies and procedures.
- Conducting on-site inspections to ensure compliance with specifications, safety standards, and regulations.
- Establishing strategic project objectives, policies, and performance standards.
- Overseeing construction progress to ensure adherence to safety, quality, schedule, and budgetary constraints.
- Managing procurement, subcontractor relationships, and material purchasing.
- Representing the company in contract negotiations and liaising with stakeholders.
- Leading project teams, including hiring, training, and mentoring staff.
- Monitoring project progress, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Providing regular project status updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Engineering, or Construction Management preferred, with a minimum of 7 years of Project Manager experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and multitask effectively.
- OSHA 30 certification and familiarity with construction survey and scheduling.
- Excellent understanding of construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Advanced proficiency in Bluebeam, Heavy-Job, and Viewpoint Vista.
Additional Information
- 5+ to 7 years of experience required.
- Mid-senior level position; management experience not mandatory.
- Bachelor's degree minimum education requirement.
- Occasional travel may be necessary.
