Jennings H. Mitchell and Son Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Construction Project Manager to oversee and direct a variety of drywall construction projects of varying values. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing multiple projects at different stages, coordinating with clients, supervising field foremen and crews, and ensuring project success from start to finish. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage complex projects efficiently.

- Leadership & Supervision: Provide strong leadership and guidance to field foremen and employees, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality results.
- Client Relations: Develop and maintain positive working relationships with clients, acting as the primary point of contact for project updates and issue resolution.
- Purchasing & Orders: Review and approve purchase orders for each project, ensuring materials and resources are properly managed.
- Crew Coordination: Coordinate work crews to ensure adequate coverage of field employees on each project.
- Conflict Resolution: Work through conflicts with clients and employees, resolving issues quickly and maintaining project timelines.
- Billing & Reports: Review, prepare, and correct monthly billing reports to ensure accuracy and timely submissions.
- Estimating & Take-Offs: Complete take-offs from drawings, preparing accurate estimates for projects.
- Hiring & Staffing: Assist in hiring procedures for field employees, ensuring the right talent is placed on each project.
- Contract Management: Maintain project contract documents, including submittals and change orders, to ensure compliance and documentation accuracy.
- Invoice Processing: Process, approve, and code invoices related to project expenses.
- Timecard Processing: Process field employee time cards on a weekly basis, ensuring accurate payroll submissions.
- Safety Management: Ensure that all safety protocols and OSHA regulations are strictly followed on-site.
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in the commercial drywall, framing, and construction field.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for success in this role.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve issues that arise during construction projects.
- Technical Skills: Ability to read and understand architectural and structural drawings.
- Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with construction software such as ProCore, PlanGrid, Foundation, OST, and Quick Bid.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree is a plus, but not required.
- Team-Oriented: Dedicated team player with a collaborative mindset.
- License: Must have a valid state driver's license and reliable transportation.
